How to use Axiom Trade
This walkthrough takes you from an empty browser tab to your first completed trade and withdrawal on Axiom. It takes about twenty minutes, most of it writing down a recovery phrase and waiting for a deposit. Each step links to a longer guide if you want the detail.
Before you begin
- A desktop browser, or a mobile browser if you must. Not the in-app browser inside X or Telegram.
- An email address, a Google account or a Phantom wallet to sign up with.
- Pen and paper for the recovery phrase. Not a screenshot.
- Some SOL on an exchange or in another wallet, or a card for the Coinbase on-ramp.
- A check that Axiom's terms allow users in your country.
Step 1: create the account
Open the sign-up page
Go to axiom.trade/@thanks. Starting here attaches referral code THANKS, which takes 10% off your trading fees. Wait for the Cloudflare check to pass and confirm the address bar reads axiom.trade.
Choose a sign-up method
Email sends a one-time code and then asks you to set a password. Google and Phantom sign you in with those accounts. No identity verification is required for normal use.
Write down the recovery phrase
Axiom shows the seed phrase for your new wallet. Copy it onto paper, check every word, and store it somewhere safe. Axiom cannot regenerate it. The docs recommend importing it into Phantom, Rabby or Solflare as a backup route to your funds.

Step 2: deposit
Open the wallet panel and copy your Solana address, then send SOL to it from an exchange or wallet on the Solana network. Send a small amount first. Alternatively, Axiom's Buy button uses Coinbase and is documented at up to $500 a week without KYC. Keep a little SOL spare at all times: every transaction, including converting USDC, is paid for in SOL. Detail: how to deposit.
Step 3: set your trading settings once
Before the first trade, open the settings icon at the top right and check four values.
| Setting | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Slippage | Low, raised per token | Protects you from a worse price than you expected |
| Priority fee | Axiom's recommended value (default 0.001 SOL) | Raise during congestion |
| Bribe | Axiom's recommended value (default 0.001 SOL) | Raise only for competitive launches |
| MEV mode | Secure | Axiom recommends it; it stops sandwich bots on buys |

Step 4: find a token
You have three ways in. Paste a contract address or ticker into the search bar. Open Explore for tokens ranked by recent activity. Or open Pulse, the three-column live feed of tokens being created, about to migrate, and just migrated. Pulse is where most Axiom users spend their time, and it is also where the most worthless tokens live, so use its filters before you use its Quick Buy button.
Step 5: make the first trade
Open the token page
You will see the chart, the order panel, market cap, volume and liquidity, and tabs for holders and trades.
Enter an amount in SOL
Start small. Click Buy and confirm. The trade is sent to Solana using the settings from step 3.
Watch the position
Axiom shows how much SOL you spent, how much the holding is worth and your unrealised profit or loss on the token page and in your portfolio.

Step 6: sell
On the token page, switch to Sell and choose a percentage of your holding or an exact amount. Sells rarely need MEV protection according to Axiom's docs, but they do need enough SOL in the wallet for the network fee. If you want to sell at a target price without watching, place a limit order. Step 7: withdraw
Because the wallet is yours, withdrawing is just sending SOL or USDC to another address: an exchange deposit address or a wallet like Phantom. Use the Solana network, send a test amount first, and leave a little SOL behind. If a transfer shows as pending, the withdrawal help page explains how to check it on Solscan.
